Ingredients
- 1.5 kg pork shoulder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 onions
- 2 carrots
- 1 piece of celery
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp oil
- 500 ml broth
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 100 ml water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160C (320F).
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a roasting pan and sear the pork on all sides.
- Add chopped onions, carrots, celery, and garlic to the pan.
- Pour in the broth and cover the pan.
- Roast in the oven for about 2 hours.
- Remove the pork and vegetables from the pan.
- Mix corn starch with water and stir into the pan juices to thicken the gravy.
- Slice the pork and serve with the vegetables and gravy.
